LINEAR Absorber – because efficient climate regulation and good room acoustics belong together

The users’ increasing need for comfort places high demands on building services - especially in terms of climate regulation. The LINEAR absorber makes it possible to combine the advantages of concrete core tempering with room acoustics requirements. For modern office and administration buildings, concrete core tempering is a comfortable and environmentally sound alternative to conventional HVAC. The technical basis relies on the use of the thermal storage capacity of structural elements: In this way, the structural elements absorb the heat loads generated within the room. In order to satisfy room acoustical requirements in concrete core tempered office spaces, pinta has developed the LINEAR Absorber. This system offers greater thermal efficiency as compared to a ceiling cloud: The LINEAR Absorber achieves the same acoustic performance levels with less ceiling area, which in turn has less impact on the radiation of the concrete core tempered ceiling area. This results in a significantly lower temperature increase in the room.
